The Secret Life of Pets

Max (Louis C.K.) is a spoiled terrier who enjoys a comfortable life in a New York building until his owner adopts Duke, a giant and unruly canine. During their walk outside, they encounter a group of ferocious alley cats and wind up in a truck that’s bound for the pound. Luckily, a rebellious bunny named Snowball swoops in to save the doggy duo from captivity. In exchange, Snowball demands that Max and Duke join his gang of abandoned pets on a mission against the humans who’ve done them wrong.

I really want to make this short because I’m just really not the interested in talking about this film.  In order to make it short all you need to know is that this movie is a Toy Story rip off with pets and way too much slapstick.  There are hardly any jokes and when there are they are funny but the film resorts back to just a bunch of stupid unfunny slapstick stuff.  That’s really all you need to know.  AND WHY WOULD YOU CAST KEVIN HART AS A BUNNY?  You can’t possibly watch it and go “Oh that’s just a rabbit” you in turn say “Oh that’s Kevin Hart” I like the guy but he resorts to just high pitched yelling too much.  I was really let down by this film honestly.
