Deadpool (2016) Genre (Action)

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

How Long have I been waiting for this movie? A pretty long time. I remember the best part of the Fantastic 4 premiere last summer was seeing this trailer on the big screen for the 1st time.  Deadpool is one of my favorite Marvel characters, so I’m biased, get over it.

This was the perfect Deadpool Movie everything hit just right humor, action and the romance aspect fit into the overall story better than I actually thought it would.  Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool, he owns that role.  Thank goodness he pushed for this movie to be made.  If I was Fox I would give the guy a bump in pay he just made them the highest rated R opening ever.  Anyways Reynolds is great but the other characters are pretty good as well whoever plays Vanessa (I don’t feel like looking up her name), TJ Miller was likable as Weasel, Collosus and NTW were used just the right amount and I really enjoyed their characters (more than I thought I would) Ed Skrein as Ajax was good, he wasn’t really that strong of a villain but he really didn’t need to be.

The humor in this movie is pretty spot on.  If you pay attention and understand the references to pop culture and Reynolds himself you’ll probably find it even funnier. Like seriously though, I cant think of a joke that just missed completely everything is right there in your face.  The action also is pretty darn good.  There is a scene that is pretty much a remix of the black knight scene from Monty Python and The Holy Grail.  I mean how can you go wrong with that?

Okay my complaints the story goes back and forth from origin to present day which is okay.  And for the most part I was fine with it.  But some of the flashbacks, get a little slow and I’m like lets get back to the cool stuff.  But overall that is minor in the whole frame of the film.  I loved it what else can I say

You know that if DMX is on a movies soundtrack its going to be pretty kickass.
